Tropical Spice Garden

Today, after working half day i met my dear friends,Atie and after taken ours lunch at Seagate we went to Tropical Spice Garden at Feringgi.When walking into the garden we already smell of spices around that place and in front of the registration there are small lake and "sampan" to welcome the visitors.

Local called this as "Mortar" or "Lesung Batu" in Malay and they still using until now even though mostly people now using blender as option.

There to many types of herb,spices and flower at this Garden that you can see,touch and smells.

After went to Spice Garden we headed to my favorite place at Straits Quay at Tanjong Tokong,and i  really love this photo.Thanks! for captured this photo...

p/s: I had a great time with my wonderful ex-room mate,Atie.We've been friends since i met her at Malacca Matriculation College 2003 and we still keep in touch each others,even  I know she really busy with her Master now.Well, Best of luck to my dear,Friends....Love! and hoping that we can hang out again...:D

"Popiah" and Me.

I love to eat "popiah" or "spring roll". I know it sounded lame,but my mom "popiah" is the best!...:D

This is my first time tried making my own "popiah".So, before went for hiking with my friends i make a "popiah" with my own recipes and i just used my own imagination and my experience eating "popiah" before this.Seriously...

So after make the" spring roll" i headed to Bukit Jambul for hiking with my friends.And, finally i managed to hiked until the the top after many times tried before this, because after 10 minutes hike sure I am flat,but i don't know what make me push myself to the top that day.The result is,I love the scenery there and It's so peaceful after all.

Salam Maulidul Rasul 2011

Salam Maulidul Rasul and Happy Holiday to all non-Muslim.

Tomorrow will be Public holiday in Malaysia to celebrate our prophet "Nabi Muhammad birthday" or called "Maulidul Rasul".

 

As I remember, I love to attending the procession during "Maulidul Rasul" at my school.Wake up early morning and wearing  "Baju Kurung",already make me happy because that the only day we can wear something else beside our  "boring school uniform" and seeing my non-Muslim friends wearing "Baju Kurung" too, its looked nice at them.After the procession,as usual we going take the food that school served and I will eat with all my friends and as teenagers,there a lot thing we want to talked about until we didn't realize it's time to go back home.How sweets that time...

For now, i never attend any procession for "Maulidul Rasul" anymore since I left my hometown and staying all by myself.It's totally different now.I just feel like bit awkward to go alone and celebrate with strangers.Its different when school time when you know people around you.It's so sad when think about it.

Well, i just hoping next year I can go and celebrate "Maulidul Rasul" with my family especially. Insyallah....

I had great short break during CNY and spending time with my family is more worth it and i really enjoyed every moments,playing with my little niece and doing manicure and pedicure to my mom very fun.

Before i drive back to Penang with my friends,Dija.We attend my friends wedding at Selangor and, attending his wedding is kinda brought us back all the good memories that we had during our university life.To be honest he is the best male friends i ever had,he full of sense of humor,kind and very supportive.Well,congratulations my friends!
